The White Paper on Nanotechnologies: an ethical and social vision of the advances in nanoscience and nanotechnology
The most relevant aspects of nanoscience and nanotechnologies and their impact on society, the environment and human health are discussed in this book, the writing and editing of which was coordinated by researchers from the University of Barcelona and the Catalan Society of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology.

Materials of the Nano- and the Micro-World: a conference by Clúster MAV
The Advanced Materials Cluster of Catalonia organised a conference dedicated to innovation and technology transfer in materials science with the collaboration of the ICMAB, the ICN2 and the IMB-CNM. A set of presentations was followed by a guided tour to the laboratories of the three centres.

COVID-19 diagnostics: what does it take for a new technology to move from concept to actual clinical practice?
A review in "ACS Nano" examines the phases of the development of a diagnostic device, highlighting the critical aspects and limitations that slow down the process of bringing an innovative technology from the laboratory to the marketplace. This work was conducted by members of the ICN2 Nanobioelectronics and Biosensors Group.
