The ICN2 Group Leader becomes part of one of the institution's most important advisory bodies, in recognition of her contributions to strategic areas such as the green transition and the sustainable production of fuels and chemicals.
The Spanish National Research Council (CSIC), the largest scientific research organisation in Spain, has announced the appointment of ICREA Prof. María Escudero-Escribano, head of the ICN2 NanoElectrocatalysis and Sustainable Chemistry Group, to its Scientific Advisory Committee. This body plays a key role in the planning of scientific programmes, research projects and the overall management of the CSIC.
Prof. Escudero-Escribano's appointment recognises her distinguished career in materials science and electrochemistry, both fundamental fields for the development of more sustainable energy solutions. Her scientific and institutional expertise will be instrumental in strengthening CSIC's research excellence.
