NanoEduca's annual programme, offering secondary school students an immersive introduction to nanoscience and nanotechnology, concluded on May 10 with a vibrant event at the University of Barcelona's Faculty of Biology. The day was filled with student-led presentations, engaging scientific demonstrations, career-inspiring talks, and an awards ceremony recognising the most creative and rigorous student projects.

The primary objective of this initiative is to facilitate horizontal collaboration among science, art, and technology, equally involving researchers, creatives, and technologists. The outcome will be a large-scale collective experiment rooted in the performing arts that contributes to research, encourages critical thinking in society, and fosters reflection on plausible futures.

A morning event full of activities for high school students was held at the UAB on April 25 to make them discover the world of nanoscience and the numerous and diverse applications of nanotechnology. This was part of the 10alamenos9 Festival, held every year to inspire young students to pursue a career in nanoscience, as well as to disseminate research in this field to the general public.
