More than 20 teachers came at UAB Campus in order to be introduced into the nanoworld through a presentation and a visit in the ICN2 building, including a stop on a laboratory with a talk by ICREA Research Prof. Aitor Mugarza. Also, the assistants had the opportunity to be in a training area from the Science Faculty of UAB where nanoscience and nanotechnology is taught.

The educational program was presented in a workshop about materials oriented to science education during the Campus Gutenberg, a reference event in Barclona about science communication. In a crowded room three initiatives were presented and discussed.

Fuerzas y Tunel 2016 (September 5-7, 2016), a congress gathering every two years the Spanish community working on scanning probe techniques, and the exhibition Visions of the NanoWorld (until September 29), bring nanoscience and nanotechnology to Girona (Spain). Different dissemination events around the congress offer a didactic and attractive view of the research performed at ICN2 and the nanoscale.

This H2020 European Project offers information and dialogue around the present and future of nanotechnology. Following the principles of Responsible Research and Innovation the project partners want to involve different actors in a constructive discussion. ICN2 collaborates with the project to organize during 2017 one of the dialogue meetings in Barcelona.
